Duct Machine Up and Running!

As corrosion protection is of utmost importance to ensure durability of post-tensioned tendons, SDI has invested in a new line of plastic products. This investment includes the installation of a state-of-the-art duct machine that produces the highest grade corrugated polypropylene duct as well as the development of all new snap fit connections which are not only air tight but also provide a much more constructible alternative to the standard heat shrink connection. The simplicity of these connections result in large labor savings while also ensuring proper field installation.
